Gordon’s whistle-stop tour success

LOCAL Conservative parliamentary hopeful, Gordon Henderson, followed up the successful launch of his General Election campaign with a whistle-stop tour of the constituency.

Mr Henderson visited every ward in Sittingbourne and Sheppey to meet local people and Conservative Party activists.

During the visit Mr Henderson unveiled more of the election posters in the impressive display that has been a real talking point in the area.

He said:

“Our General Election campaign has got off to a great start and we have really hit the ground running with posters erected in most wards in the constituency and 15,000 leaflets hand delivered during the first 72 hours of the campaign.

“The whistle-stop tour went really well and I was delighted at the wonderful reception we received in every area we visited.

“I sense there is a mood for real change in Sittingbourne and Sheppey and hopefully I can provide that change.”
