MP creates Twitter account

 

Gordon Henderson has created a Twitter account to connect with his constituents.

 

Following the success of Mr Henderson’s Facebook page, which recently reached 100 ‘likes’, Mr Henderson is keen to reach out to his constituents via other social media.

 

Twitter is a social networking platform that allows users to ‘follow’ each other and ‘tweet’ about their day to day activities and thoughts.

 

Mr Henderson said,

 

“In a world where technology becomes more and more encompassing in our lives I am keen to keep up to date and use Twitter and Facebook to engage with my constituents, in particular, the younger generation in Sittingbourne and Sheppey.”
