Please find below for your information a copy of of a letter I sent to The Rt. Hon. Robert Jenrick MP, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, asking him to 'call in' the two planning applications, which have been validated by Swale Borough Council, for the Highsted Park Garden Village in Sittingbourne.

 

Please also find below for your information the response I received from Eddie Hughes MP, the Minister for Housing,

 

As you can see, the Secretary of State will not intervene until after Swale Borough Council has made a decision on the applications. However, my request has been noted, which was my intention, and a much fuller justification for my request will be submitted at the appropriate time, if required.
