MP congratulates local Kent County Councillors for being appointed to Cabinet positions

Local MP, Gordon Henderson, has congratulated three Kent County Councillors for being appointed to Cabinet positions at Kent County Council.

Andrew Bowles, Ken Pugh and Mike Whiting have been appointed to the following Cabinet positions:

• Andrew Bowles (Swale East and Leader of Swale Borough Council) – Deputy Cabinet Member of the Deputy Leaders Office of KCC
• Ken Pugh (Sheerness & Minster) – Deputy Cabinet Member for Business Strategy & Support
• Mike Whiting (Swale Central) – Deputy Cabinet Member for Education, Learning & Skills

Mr Henderson said,

“I am delighted to see that out of six of our county councillors half of them have been appointed to cabinet posts.

“I am passionate about providing help and support to local businesses and promoting learning and skills within my constituency so I look forward to working closely with my County colleagues so that together we can make a real difference to our community.”
