MP becomes patron of the MSBLF
Gordon Henderson MP has accepted an invitation to become a Patron of the Medway and Swale Business Leaders Forum (MSBLF).
The MSBLF, which is part of the Kent Small Enterprise Network (KSEN), was set up to help small businesses through difficult economic times by promoting entrepreneurship, growth and sustainability.
Mr Henderson was asked to become a Patron following his attendance at the launch of MSBLF in September 2011, at which he was the Keynote Speaker.
Abdul D. Mohammed, Group Chief Executive at the KSEN, said:
“In the hope of setting MSBLF on a good footing and structure to provide meaningful support to small growing and struggling enterprises in Medway and Swale and due to consideration of your immense accomplishments, Mr Henderson’s acceptance as Patron of MSBLF will be a great inspiration.”
Mr Henderson said:
“Local businesses are important to the local economy and the creation of jobs and so I am keen to support them and provide them with easy access to me for advice on Government policy.
“It is a great pleasure to accept this invitation and I hope to use my position as Patron to continue to help promote sustainability and growth for the local businesses within my constituency of Sittingbourne and Sheppey.”
