Gordon congratulates Kemsley Fields residents on Easter fete success.
Local Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, Gordon Henderson, joined
residents at Kemsley Fields at their inaugural community fete on Easter Monday,
and was very impressed with what he found.
Gordon, who was accompanied to the fete by his wife Louise and two of his granddaughters, congratulated the newly formed Kemsley Fields Residents Association on a successful event.
Gordon said:
‘I was really impressed with the fete. We often see fetes like this in our rural villages, but it is rare to find such events on our urban developments.
‘It was quite obvious that members of the Kemsley Fields Residents Association
put in a lot of hard work to organise the fete and I would like to congratulate them
on a very enjoyable and successful day.
‘This is an excellent example of how community spirit can be created on new estates where residents often don’t know their neighbours very well.’
