MP supports Rotary Club beer festival

LOCAL MP, Gordon Henderson, was one of hundreds of dedicated real ale lovers who descended on The Aviator public house in Queenborough to enjoy some of the beers laid on by the Minster-On-Sea Rotary Club for its annual beer festival.

Mr Henderson, who was accompanied by his wife Louise, who is herself a Rotarian, said:

“I am always delighted to support our local rotary clubs, because, like many other local voluntary organisation they do excellent work raising money for charity.

“Visiting the Minster-On-Sea Rotary Club Beer Festival was a particular pleasure and I was delighted for them that after a pretty damp start the weather came good and by late afternoon there were crowds of people enjoying some pretty fantastic beers.

“Well done to everybody involved for their hard work. They should be proud of themselves for the superb way the festival was organised. I look forward to visiting the Beer Festival next year!”
