Local disabled man promotes Canine Partners in Parliament

A seriously disabled man from Sittingbourne visited Parliament with his dog Yeti to promote the charity Canine Partners.

Yeti has been trained to help his owner, Glen Tallett, deal with the type of everyday tasks that able bodied people take for granted.

Glen was met in Parliament by local MP Gordon Henderson who said:

‘Glen is one of the most remarkable, inspirational men that I have ever met. Despite his profound disability he manages to live alone with the help of his wonderful dog, Yeti.

‘Recently, Yeti was attacked by another dog and this deeply upset Glen. I would urge dog owners to take better control of their pets and ensure that such incidents never happen again.’
