MP hosts one-year anniversary advice surgery on BRFM
John Lennon, the Rolling Stones and Eliza Doolittle were among Gordon Henderson’s song choices played live on-air for his special one-year anniversary advice surgery on BRFM 95.6fm last Friday (16th September).
The one-hour show between 1pm-2pm, presented by Matthew ‘Judders’ Judd, gave the opportunity for residents in Sittingbourne and Sheppey to ask Mr Henderson questions regarding national and local issues.
Mr Henderson chose the playlist for the show, choosing songs which were significant to him. The songs were:
1. John Lennon – Imagine
2. Coldplay – Viva La Vida
3. Rolling Stones – Jumpin’ Jack Flash
4. Eliza Doolittle – Pack Up
5. The Beatles – A Day In A Life
BRFM Presenter, Matthew Judd said,
“It is always great to have Gordon in the studio every month. I was really nervous when we did the first advice surgery but now a year has passed and Gordon and I have got to know each other and work well together. I look forward to working with Gordon over the next 12 months.”
Mr Henderson said,
“I am a big fan of community radio and was delighted when BRFM invited me to do a regular monthly on-air advice surgery.
“It has been good working on the programme with Judders, who has managed to develop a format that is informative and questioning, without being too heavy.
“I look forward to maintaining a good working relationship with him.”
