University challenge for Tory candidate.
Local Tory Parliamentary candidate, Gordon Henderson, this week visited Kent University to meet students and discuss with them the challenges facing a future Conservative Government.
Gordon was speaking at the invitation of the Kent University Conservative Association, and was accompanied by his campaign manager, John Burke. John was leader of Swale Borough Council for ten years, and is an accomplished public speaker.
In a sometimes lively debate Gordon and John were asked some challenging questions by the students, covering topics as diverse as capital Punishment, Europe and hunting with dogs.
Gordon said:
‘It was an enjoyable evening debating some pretty controversial subjects with a group of extremely intelligent and thoughtful young people.’
